Shift Energy: The 2min Wild Orange Shakedown

Stand up, close eyes, check in: body, breath, mind, energy.

For 2 mins, shake your body, begin gently, end gently, have a wild time in-between!

Roll Wild Orange on palms, 3 long, steady inhales from cupped hands, ‘wipe’ hands over solar plexus*.

Check in: body, breath, mind, energy now.

*safety note - after applying citrus oil to skin, do not expose the area to sunlight for 12 hours min.

 

Centered, Grounded & Steady: Balance

Shoes & socks off!

Roll Balance on wrists, 3 really good deep inhales. Roll on soles of feet (socks back on if you like).

Stand, feet hip width, softness at knee joints, arms loose at sides.

Breathe gently through the nose, lips softly touch, (ujayi breath if you know it), be aware of your feet on the Earth. Eyes steadily, softly gazing at one fixed point a couple metres ahead on the ground.

As your next inhale begins, sweep arms forward & up overhead, wait for exhale to begin & gently come back down - minimum five times. Be sure to let the breath begin before you begin the body movements.

Final round: come down, inhale from the wrists, eyes closed, tune into your connection down through legs & feet to Earth.

Calm Confidence, Sustained Attention: The Adaptiv Hug

Roll Adaptiv on base of skull & the inner elbows.

3 long steady inhales of the blend.

Inhale open arms wide, as you exhale, R-hand tucks into L-armpit, L-hand around upper R-arm, head bows a little, close eyes, slow steady breaths.

Notice how you are.

 

Relax & Quiet the Mind: 3rd Eye Serenity

Sit or stand tall, both feet on the ground.

Roll Serenity on an index finger.

Inhale the aroma three times, gently & slowly. Pay attention to long, gentle, easy exhales.

Close eyes, soften forehead, broaden place between eyebrows.

Very lightly, hardly any pressure, place the finger at the 3rd eye (space between the eyebrows). Rest your attention here.

Stay for 30 secs - 3 minutes, until you feel a ‘shift.’

For bedtime: roll on the soles of the feet & behind the ears (if aroma is too intense, roll on spine at back of neck)

 
 

5 x Oil Rituals for Sleep Hygiene

Balance - massage, even 30 seconds, on feet as settling down for the evening

Adaptiv, roll on hands, deep breaths after you put phone away

Wild Orange, inhale, as you write or think of 5 gratitudes

Serenity inhale from hands in moments before sleep

Balance + Adaptiv + Serenity together in a diffuser in the bedroom, start the diffuser an hour before you plan to go to bed.

Balance on feet in morning before day begins

Wild Orange rolled over Solar Plexus (if not going in sun)

Wild Orange 1 drop in a glass of water, or Cacao

Adaptiv oil, on your desk/in your bag, use as needed - roll on hands, deep breaths

Serenity rolled over throat before public speaking
